FIELD: iron industry, in particular cold-rolled and hot-rolled medium-carbon constructional steel.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to melting, casting, hot and cold rolling of steel, containing carbon 0.32-0.55; manganese 0.5-0.8; silicium 0.17-0.37; chromium 0.10-0.25; nickel 0.10-0.25; copper not more than 0.15; boron 0.001-0.005; aluminum 0.01-0.06; titanium 0.01-0.06; calcium 0.01-0.03; and balance iron and inevitable impurities. Cold-rolled steel strip has cross-section of 3-7 mm, width of 20-35 mm and minimum cold plastic flow of 15 %. Melted steel has %Mn/%C ratio of 1.4 to 1.7 and total content of aluminum and titanium of 0/05-0.07 mass %. Claimed steel is useful in manufacturing of strips with rectangular and trapezoidal cross-section for agricultural and woodworking equipment.
EFFECT: method for producing of steel strip applicable for full-scale production.
