FIELD: cryogenic refrigerating plants.
SUBSTANCE: method to regulate predetermined temperature of cryoagent upstream of object to be cryostatted involves initial changing electric heater power and providing change in cryoagent flow rate by varying its inlet pressure; controlling inlet pressure drop during following cryostatting process and maintaining optimal compression ratio of compressor and expansion ratio of turboexpander without plant efficiency change. Cryogenic plant has inlet pressure and discharge pressure regulators. Regulators are adjusted to obtain pressures lesser than maximal pressure value by two control valves and check valve having pressure drop sensor. Check valve is connected in series with compressor inlet pressure regulator. Discharge pressure regulator is arranged parallel to plant compressor. One control valve is installed parallel to regulator which maintains maximum discharge pressure. Another control valve is installed parallel to regulator which maintains maximum inlet pressure.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of refrigeration performance in the case of wide-ranging heat load variation of object to be cryostatted.
