SUBSTANCE: matchbox is made in the form of equilateral triangular prism with rear, front and side walls, drop cover with friction paste and slotted pocket. Side walls are provided with wings adjoining one another behind front inner wall and glued to front outer wall. Drop cover has flap fixed in slotted pocket. Box proportions, i.e., height, width and length are characterized by number of figures, in which each subsequent number is total of two previous numbers, and ratio of adjacent numbers is 1,618, to correspond the "golden proportion" criterion.
EFFECT: simplified construction and increased workability in manufacture.
