FIELD: heat-and-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: preheated fresh water is fed into deaerator, wherefrom deaerated water and vented steam are withdrawn. Temperature of water feed is controlled from residual oxygen content in deaerated water and simultaneously from specified residual carbon dioxide content therein. Temperature of initial water is chosen taking into consideration necessity of achieving additive content of most hard-to remove gas by charging temperature of initial water.
EFFECT: improved quality and economical efficiency of water deaeration due to achieved specified content of most hard-to remove gas (oxygen or carbon dioxide).
