FIELD: metallurgy; production of castings from aluminum alloys.
SUBSTANCE: according to one of versions, proposed device has reservoir and at least one unit located in this reservoir and used for distribution of gas flow in melt. Device has shaft enclosed in cylindrical bush; upper end of this shaft is connected with drive and lower end is connected with rotor; device includes also stator and passage for delivery of gas to rotor. Passage is formed by inner surface of bush and grooves. Surface of shaft has grooves whose total length exceeds length of shaft for preheating the gas flow to temperature below temperature of melt by 25-75 C as a rule. Side walls of reservoir are diverging upward and outside at angle of 95-120 deg. towards reservoir bottom for increase of volume of bubbles causing reduction of static pressure. Device is also provided with floating stator.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to avoidance of contamination.
