FIELD: measurement of electrical quantities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transducer used for instance in measuring heavy dc currents over 50 kA has several measuring channels and several measuring components disposed on nonmagnetic frame enclosing bus bundle. Each measuring channel has magnetic field concentrator in the form of magnetic circuit assembled of two U-shaped cores. Hall-effect transducer is placed in magnetic circuit gap on its magnetizing winding end. Introduced in each measuring channel is analog voltage tracking unit using additional memory device. The latter functions to record voltage proportional to measured current just as soon as magnetic flux due to measured current is brought to equality with compensating magnetic flux due to magnetizing winding. Analog voltage tracking unit makes it possible to reduce error in shaping sample of analog voltage instant value proportional to measured current.
EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy.
