FIELD: adaptive antennas and radio navigation systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for controlling frequency gain of receiver that has reference channel and filter incorporating channel under control includes calculation of filter factors in channel under control in response to input signal and adjustment of frequency gain to desired frequency gain; novelty is that originally similar finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters are used in reference channel and in channel under control; input signal in the form of phase-keyed test signal with phase jump by π radian which is used to measure transient response at output of reference-channel digital filter and that of digital filter of channel under control are supplied to inputs of reference channel and channel under control; transient response measurement results are used to calculate factors of FIR digital filter of channel under control using following formulas: W = (X H)-1Y, or where W is column vector of unknown weighting coefficients for finding column vector of FIR digital filter ; H is diagonal matrix of coefficients of original FIR digital filter; X is reading matrix at input of FIR digital filter of channel under control; Y is transfer response reading column vector at output of reference-channel FIR digital filter.
EFFECT: enhanced degree of noise suppression.
