FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely fastening tubes in openings of tube plates by expansion.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing in which working cone is arranged. Said cone engages with rollers placed in windows of housing. Housing is joined with extension piece in which additional cone is arranged in the same axis as working cone. Additional and working cones have the same conicity degree. Measuring instrument is mounted on extension piece. Measuring head of said instrument engages with surface of additional cone. Clock type indicator may be used as measuring instrument. Apparatus may have spring-loaded plungers mounted on extension piece and engaged with necks of additional cone.
EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of apparatus, enhanced efficiency of tube expansion process.
