FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: machine tool has housing, grinding disks mounted oppositely to each other, and carriage carrying the holder of an article to be grinded and mounted in guides. The carriage is provided with two parallel cantilevers interconnected trough axles. The top axle is provided with gear sector, carrying holder which engages the gearing wheel mounted on the other axle. The mechanism for movement of the holder made of a rack-shaft is mounted under the carriage for permitting engaging the gear wheel.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of the machine tool.
