FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in tractors, self-propelled vehicle prime movers and carriers. Proposed self-propelled vehicle has engine, gearbox and transfer case with wheeled and crawler propulsive device. Power drive of crawler propulsive device has steering mechanism made in form of double bevel symmetrical differential 2. Axle-shafts 3 of differential 2 are connected through final drives 4 with gear wheels of crawler propulsive device. Sun gears 6 of differential 2 are connected through gear trains 7 with cornering control mechanism. Said mechanism is made in form of friction torus variable speed with two parallel sections. Said sections are connected through control mechanism with steering mechanism.
EFFECT: improved steerability of vehicle owing to kinematically correlated action of wheeled and crawler steering circuits and improved accuracy of cornering.
