FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, namely equipment for producing titanium sponge.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes electric furnace in which reducing converter with draining device is arranged. Draining device includes stem with seat having draining opening; rod having draining pipe and closing needle; double-arm lever with vertical-motion mechanism and bracket. Apparatus includes in addition device for vertically moving axle of lever. Said device is mounted on bracket and it includes rocking-motion axle of lever, fork provided with opening in lower part and eyes; lead screw. Bracket includes two parts having vertical slits and mutually joined downwards by means of horizontal bridge and sleeve having threaded opening. Rocking motion axle of lever passes through vertical slits of bracket, eyes of fork and horizontal slit of lever. Fork is joined with bracket by means of lead screw.
EFFECT: improved design of draining device, namely of mechanism for swinging rod, enhanced efficiency of apparatus, lowered labor consumption of reduction process.
