SUBSTANCE: comparator has two D flip-flops 1, 2, three integrators 3, 4, 10, pulse shaper 5, reference voltage supply 6, two time domain shapers 7, 8, and NOR gate 9. Phase comparator operates in three modes, as follows:- phase of first signal being compared is shorter than that of second signal;- phase of first signal being compared is longer than that of second signal;- phases of signals being compared are equal.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities; extended range of phases of signals being compared.
