FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has measuring unit and working unit having DC circuit with threshold device, electrodes and sockets for connecting the electrodes. External bipolar electropuncture electrode has plastic casing coaxial contacts unit and dielectric between them. The central contact is manufactured as rod of internal diameter being 2 mm large and external one of 2.2 mm. The bipolar electrode is connected to (-) socket in functional acupuncture point evaluation mode and to (+) one in electropuncture mode under sedative treatment mode and to (-) when stimulating acupuncture points.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in supporting operation safety; reduced risk of current propagation through organs of vital importance; high sensitivity of device.
