FIELD: dust catching in different industries.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a direct-flow cyclone and is dealt with the field of dust catching in different industries. The direct-flow cyclone is intended for dust catching and may find application in devices of air-purification of the ground-based gas-turbine power plants and in some other branches of industry. The direct-flow cyclone consists of a cylindrical cage with a swirler at the inlet and an jalousie-type rotator at the outlet and is additionally equipped with resilient disk-shaped valves, which shut the windows made in the cylindrical cage. The presence in the design of the indicated valves ensures operability of the cyclone in case some foreign solids are fed in the inlet branch-pipe, that increases reliability of the device.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increases reliability of operation and keeping its operability in case foreign solids enter its inlet.
