FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides tarn that can be used in manufacture of textile articles for sewing work outfits for fire-service and metallurgical plant workers, for examples outfit parts such as hoods, erect collars, and the like, which allows assortment group of these articles to be substantially expanded and high consumer's properties ensured at reduced cost price. Yarn exhibits a complex of properties such as fireproofness, strength, elasticity, and ergonomic properties, which allow the yarn to be employed in manufacture of textile and tricot used for sewing parts of clothes. In addition, yarn is also distinguished by low price due to use of staple fibers. Mixed single yarn for textile articles contains heat-resistant and wool fibers. The former are staple fibers made from synthetic high-polymer material of "rusar" and having linear density 0.21-0.25 and arithmetic mean length 50.0-60.0 m. Such fibers are obtained by untwining complex synthetic high -polymer material or "rusar" threads. Thus obtained yarn consists of (i) a rod in the form of the bundles of, synthetic high-polymer material or "rusar" fibers joined together by individual wool filaments having linear density not higher than 0.44-0.49 tex, arithmetic mean length 55-70 mm, and twisting 9.0 turns in 1 cm and (ii) a shell composed of intermediate layer preferably of wool fibers helically arranged at an angle 15.0-30.0o to the rod and discontinuous outer layer formed by synthetic high-polymer material pile or "rusar" fibers. On the whole, yarn contains 10-40% of wool fibers and 60-90% of synthetic polymer material or "rusar" fibers.
EFFECT: improved protective efficiency of textile articles.
