FIELD: generating combustion products of high pressure and high velocity.
SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber of the gas-turbine engine has cylindrical hosing, fire tube which is axially aligned with respect to the housing and forms flowing space for air supply, cylindrical shield, periphery burners, central burner, and lid of the combustion chamber which covers the housing of the combustion chamber from the face. The cylindrical shield is mounted coaxially inside the fire pipe and forms a ring passage for flowing cooling air. The periphery burners are arranged uniformly over the periphery in the frontal device. All burners provide preliminary preparation of fuel-air mixture. The central burner is mounted on the fire pipe and set in the fire pipe behind the periphery burners. The frontal device is provided with cooling dumpers made of hollow bodies of arbitrary cross-section whose open face points in the direction to the combustion zone. The opposite faces of the cooling dumpers are covered with lids provided with axial openings for flowing of cooling air, the area of which is essentially smaller than that of the cross-section of the space of the cooling dumper. The frontal device is spaced from the lid at a distance determined from the relationship proposed.
EFFECT: prolonged service life.
