FIELD: reactivity control mechanisms for water-moderated water-cooled power reactors.
SUBSTANCE: sealing device of casing gate has supporting bushing mounted on casing collar; gland-type gasket made of expanded graphite and disposed between butt-end projections of mentioned bushings, inner surface of casing, butt-end and cylindrical surfaces of transducer case. Proposed mechanical design of sealing device ensures reduced primary coolant leakage probability in reactor unit, as well as reduced thrusts on casing walls in primary circuit seal.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of drive and reactor.
