FIELD: designs of feeding and turning mechanism in tube cold rolling mills.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes housing and arranged in it: apparatus for converting continuous rotation to intermittent one; feeding chuck and turning chuck with two-cam members for clamping blank; leverage for reciprocation motion of feeding chuck; gear transmissions of drive units respectively for feeding and for clamping blank. Feeding chuck and turning chuck are provided (each) with supporting ring rotating by means of drive and mounted in the same axis with chuck. Said ring has profiled inner surface. One cam of each chuck has supporting roller engaged with inner profiled surface of supporting ring in such a way that at least during half of cycle cam is spaced by minimum distance from rotation axis. Gear ratio of gear transmissions of drive unit of supporting ring is selected according to condition that supporting ring during one rolling cycle rotates by angle equal to rotation angle of chuck for the same time period plus one revolution.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled tubes.
