FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is design to drive machine tools and industrial robots. Proposed drive contains power pneumatic cylinder, two-position four-line control air distributor whose exhaust channel communicates with atmosphere through throttle, programmable (pneumatic) unit, working (initial) place of blanks (parts) to be operated by drive of processing or transportation machine. Exhaust channel of air distributor is connected through two-position distributor with set of adjustable pneumatic containers. Working place (magazine, conveyor, etc) of blanks is furnished with mass-code converter consisting of weighing device (balance) and analog-to-digital binary code type converter made in form of group (comb) of feeding nozzles and coaxial group (comb) of intake nozzles between which intake element is installed for movement being connected with movable part of balance. Said intake element is made in form of gate (curtain) on which code mask is applied, for instance, in form of Gray code, and outputs of converter are connected with inputs of logic modules consisting of chain of logic elements in form of trigger (memory) with isolated inputs and OR, AND gates and made on jet turbulent NOR gates, and outputs of modules are connected with control inputs of distributors and inputs, with outputs of programmable unit.
