FIELD: heat-and-power engineering, particularly heat exchangers.
SUBSTANCE: heat-exchanger comprises coolant inlet and outlet pipes, coaxial shells displaced one relative another in axial direction and inserted one into another to form annular channels for working media. Channels are sealed from shell ends. Each inner shell has length exceeding that of adjacent shell. Each inner shell has the first end part located in plane of corresponding outer shell end and the second one extending beyond outer shell edge. End parts of adjacent shells extend in opposite directions. Method of heat-exchanger assemblage involves placing shells one inside another to form annular gaps and sealing annular gaps at end shell parts, by preliminary connecting annular sealing member to one end shell part, wherein sealing member closes annular gaps from both shell sides. Shells are placed one inside another by inserting shell end free of sealing member inside another shell up to obtaining coincidence between end shell part having sealing member and end plane of outer shell. Each next shell is inserted from opposite end relative to previous shell insertion.
EFFECT: reduced heat exchanger size.
