FIELD: steam generation in thermal engineering.

SUBSTANCE: boiler has drum, coaxial intercommunicating internal downtake and external evaporative tubes also communicating with drum, the former being secured on top with aid of coaxial bushing, choking, and coupling members and the latter using same choke members for installation at top part. Boiler also has flue accommodating tandem-arranged drum-level combustor, furnace, tube space of flue with horizontal and vertical partitions forming spiral-annular flow sections with gas-outlet pipe, and cylindrical mud chambers. Bushing, choking, and coupling members are installed as follows: the former one, on upper generating line of drum, and the remaining ones are disposed by means of tube sheet to form two annular rows (external and internal ones).Butt-ends of external tubes terminate in hollow truncated cones tightly fitted on top to choking members through their vertices and at bottom, to mud chamber surfaces. Bottom sections of external tubes of internal annular row in bottom part of furnace, at not over one third of its height, have their diameter equal to that of cone vertex to form passage running to tube space of flue. Top sections of external tubes of external annular row have their diameter at minimum two thirds of furnace height equal to diameter of cone vortex to form passage between tube space of flue and external flue formed by external annular row of tubes and external shell of boiler.

EFFECT: improved performance and design characteristics of boiler.
