FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with field of metallurgy, in particular with the devices for continuous processing of oxidized nickel ore. The furnace for continuous heat of materials contains: a caisson working shaft rectangular below and expanding in the top divided by transversal partitions into a chamber of oxidative smelting and on a chamber of recovery of oxides of the slag supplied with lances; a stepped heath; a siphon with tap openings for the slag and a metal-bearing phase discharge. The lower edge of a partition located on the side of the chamber of oxidative smelting is installed by 5-15 diameters of the lance of the chamber of oxidative smelting below the shaft of these lances and the upper edge of this partition is located above the shaft of lances of the chamber of recovery of oxides of slag by 2.5-4.5 distances from the shaft of the lances of the chamber of recovery of oxides of slag up to a threshold of the opening for the slag discharge. At use of the invention it provides incineration of the fuel in the melting chamber with maximum heat generation and also decreases necessity of afterburning of the outgoing gasses in the reduction chamber.
EFFECT: the invention ensures incineration of the fuel in the melting chamber with maximum heat generation and decreases necessity of afterburning of the outgoing gasses in the reduction chamber.
