FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air-jet engine contains housing to which stationary parts of engine are connected, engine shaft with fitted-on compressor, diffuser, devices to create torque on engine shaft in form of straight-flow air-jet engines arranged at distance from axis of rotation of engine shaft and secured on it. Engine fuel system consists of pump delivering fuel along fuel pipes into inner space of engine shaft wherefrom fuel is delivered under action of centrifugal force into straight-flow air-jet engines. Air intakes of straight-flow air-jet engines are pointed forwards and in direction of rotation of engine shaft, and their nozzles open back wards into common nozzle of engine consisting of bell and central body-"needle" into clearance between which combustion products from straight-flow air-jet engines get. Holes are made in walls of device for fastening straight flow air-jet engines to pass air into their diffuser and let out combustion products from nozzles. Straight-flow air-jet engines are connected with one of working wheels of compressor and they rotate together with wheel. Starter-generator is arranged before compressor in engine fairing. Oil pump is arranged in housing of reduction gear. Device for fastening straight-flow engines is made in form of flanges or drum.
EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption at high altitudes and high supersonic speeds of flying vehicle.
