FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: key joint has the members of articles to be joined. The members have outer and inner rings. The ring space between the rings receives keys which are mounted through the port in the outer ring. The inner ring is provided with the ring collar with supporting side which form the open ring space from one side together with the outer ring. The collar is in coincidence with the supporting side of the inner ring. The gap between the collar and outer ring ranges from 1/4 to 1/2 of the key thickness. The port is made in the face of the outer ring and covered with a clamp which is secured to the face of the inner ring.
EFFECT: reduced mass and sizes and simplified assembling.
