SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of the heat-mass-exchange equipment and may be used as a constituent heat-mass-exchange equipment at a direct contact between a gas and a liquid, in particular, in industrial water recooling towers. The sprinkler of the water-cooling tower is made as a module formed out of layers of the polymeric cellular pipes located in all layers in parallel to each other and welded to each other on the butts of the module in the places of contact. Before process of the module butts welding the ends of polymeric cellular pipes are given a form of a taper diffuser with a size in height equal to 0.2 - 0.5 of the pipes diameters and with an angle of 30°-60 ° in respect to their central axis. The polymeric cellular pipes external surface may be made both cylindrical and curvilinear or cycloidal. The invention ensures a raise of quality of an item at the expense of increased strength of the module and productivity of the heat-mass-exchange process.
