FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used on vehicles equipped with electropneumatic brake. Proposed electropneumatic brake. Proposed electropneumatic brake contains control and working current sources, power line including electric air distributors of vehicles connected to electric circuits of working wire and track rails. Direct and reverse polarity alternating dc current signals are supplied to electric circuits of working and control wires. Electric circuit of control wire is made for connection with electric circuit of working wire through making contacts of braking sensors installed on each vehicle and through semiconductor rectifier placed in special additional head connected with head of free hose of tail vehicles, when making up train. Electric circuit of control current source is isolated from track rails, and electric circuit of locomotive grounding device is made with use of polarity properties of dc working current source to reveal troubles.
EFFECT: protection of people from electric shock and preservation of serviceability of brake in case of damage of one of units of control or working wires.
