FIELD: refrigerating engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hermetic compressor in upper part of which drive motors in installed in housing. Proposed compressor is provided with electric motor installed in upper part of compressor housing which is furnished with suction branch pipe. Electric motor is connected with cylinders of compressor arranged in lower part of housing by means of shaft to which rotor of electric motor is rigidly connected. Ring bead is found on upper end face of rotor. Surface of bead pointed to vertical axis of rotor is made conical. Compressor contains silencer located over rotor to which suction pipes are connected, each being connected with corresponding cylinder by other end. Shell of cylindrical or conical shape is rigidly fastened tom bottom of silencer. Lower part of shell is located inside ring bead with clearance relative to bead and relative to end face surface of rotor. Ring clearance between shell and ring bead is made contacting towards upper end face of rotor having area of nearest place, i.e. between lower edge of shell and ring bead, equal to 110-130% of area of cross section of suction branch pipe.
EFFECT: provision of effective separation of liquid fraction of gaseous cooling agent at starting without complicating design of hermetic compressor.
