FIELD: mechanical engineering; ventilation facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air distributors providing control of incoming air rate within required range. Proposed air distributor contains housing in form of diffuser with outlet holes at its output connected to air conduit by means of cylindrical inlet branch pipe, ejecting ports made on surface of inlet branch pipe, contraction insert installed in inlet branch pipe, elastic collar enclosing inlet branch pipe and rigidly connected by one edge to inlet branch pipe higher than ejecting ports with possibility of movement along said ports and closing the ports. Contraction housing is made in form of truncated pyramid with rectangular lower bottom and round upper bottom, bottom of housing in which outlet holes are located is made wavy. Holes are arranged so that air jets coming out of holes collide. Ball valve is installed in contraction insert being provided with hand drive to lock valve in required position up to closing of contraction insert outlet.
EFFECT: provision of air distributor featuring low aerodynamic drag and wide air flow control range.
