FIELD: potato storage process.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating potato with immune stimulant before laying it for storage. Immune stimulant is used in conjunction with suspension Steinernema feltiae in an amount of 0.2-1% by weight of roots. Immune stimulant is produced by sequential extracting of Mortierella dichotoma micromycet biomass with the use of non-polar extractant in above-critical state, water, alkaline, water, acid, water, alkaline, and water, with following joining of first extract with solid residue.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in controlling of injurious insects during storage of potato without affecting immune status, germination and organoleptical properties of potato product.
