SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new intermediate compounds used for synthesis of derivatives of 3-hydroxy-4-aryl-5-oxopyrazoline exerting herbicide effect. Invention describes compounds of the formula (IV)and (IVa): wherein R₄ and R₅ form in common the group: -C-R₁₄(R₁₅)-C-R₁₆(R₁₇)-O-C-R₁₈(R₁₉)-C-R₂₀(R₂₁)-(Z₂) wherein each among R₁₄, R₁₅, R₁₆, R₁₇, R₁₈, R₁₉, R₂₀ and R₂₁ represents independently of one another hydrogen atom or (C₁-C₄)-alkyl. Invention provides preparing new intermediate compounds that are useful for preparing the end product eliciting valuable herbicide properties.
