FIELD: vegetable-origin chemicals production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of recovering pectin from vegetable material. In particular, recovery of pectin from sunflower anthodia comprises breakage of the latter, heating to denature proteins, extraction with ethyl acetate, hydrolysis-extraction of solid phase, separation of liquid phase, and concentration or drying thereof. According to invention, after extraction with ethyl acetate, extraction with mixture of liquid acetylene and carbon dioxide used at weight ratio between 3:7 to 7:3 is performed at superatmospheric pressure, after which extract is separated at the same pressure and pressure is then abruptly dropped to atmospheric value over solid phase and solid phase is routed to hydrolysis-extraction stage.
EFFECT: reduced accident risk because of preventing toxic solvent from getting into desired product, reduced hydrolysis-extraction time, and decreased loss of pectin matters.
