FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lens is intended for work within wide spectral range using radiation receivers which have optical axes being located at angle of 90 deg to optical axis of lens. Lens has four pieces, rectangular prism and aperture diaphragm, which is disposed between second and third pieces of lens. The first piece has two positive lenses, second piece has negative meniscus, third component has meniscus being glued of positive and negative lenses and turned with its concavity to object, fourth piece has to positive lens. Modula of focal lengths of third and fourth pieces are equal or larger than 5f'l and 0,9f'l correspondingly, where f'l is focal length of lens. There is rectangular prism on the back focal segment of lens, which prism has ray path length of 0,6f'l and more. Fast high-speed wide-angle lens has aperture ratio of up to 1:17 and angular field up to 48 deg and provides as high quality of image and ability to adjust illumination at the plane of images.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation.
