FIELD: transport engineering; security systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preventing unauthorized use of vehicles, for instance, automobiles. Proposed system consists of equipment installed on vehicle and receiving station located on board the aircraft. Equipment on vehicle consists of supply source, current-limiting resistor, remote-controlled change-over switch with two antiphase windings, light emitting diode, sealed-contact reed relay, ignition key, intermittent-signal generator, electromagnetic relay, master oscillator, phase keyer, transmitter and transmitting antenna. Receiving station contains receiving antennas, mixers, search unit, local oscillator, first intermediate frequency amplifiers, switches, second intermediate frequency amplifier, frequency detector, trigger, recording units, spectrum width meters, frequency doubler, comparator, threshold unit, delay line, detector, multipliers, narrow-band filters, phase detectors, frequency meters and computer unit. Proposed system employing multiple-scale direction finding provides enlarged functional capabilities owing to determination not only angular coordinates but range, radial and angular rates of hi-jacked vehicle in azimuth and angle of sight.
EFFECT: improved reliability in operation.
