FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed handle for box is formed in panel provided with opposite side edges and opposite end face edges intersecting to form angles of handle panel. Belt member is made integral with panel of handle being arranged between end face edges. Opposite edges of belt are in fact disconnected from panel of handle. Said belt member includes part arranged in center in which opposite central sections of opposite edges of belt are parallel to opposite side edges, occupying intermediate position in between. Section of line of cut is located close to each angle of panel of handle extending from first end face point nearest to corresponding point of said angles, to second end face point near to central part of belt member so that when force, being in fact perpendicular to plane in which panel f handle is located, acts onto central part, belt member flexes outwards from plane of displaced position nearest to plane.

EFFECT: prevention of transmission of considerable efforts to undesirable sections of handle or wall of box in which handle is located.
