FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at thermal power stations for producing distillate. According to proposed method, distillate is produced by evaporation of water in series-connected boiling-type evaporators of multistage evaporator plant connected by heating steam lines and flashing last stage of evaporator plant connected to secondary steam, condensing of steam in end condenser which uses source water, one part of heated source water is directed to make up multistage evaporator plant and the other, to make up flashing evaporator, and the rest of water is directed to make up heating system. Distillate of evaporator plant is cooled by flow of makeup water and is directed into atmospheric deaerator and then is let out into main condensate line between low pressure heaters.
EFFECT: increased thermal economy of thermal power station.
