SUBSTANCE: method includes insertion of setting signals, control signals, operands data signals of items in "1 of 4" code, checking results of adding result data for match to "1 of 4" code and in case of mismatch, generation of error signal, while signals of each appropriate quaternary byte of second and first items operands in "1 of 4" code and overflow signal from previous byte are inputted into circular displacement block, in each quaternary byte of first item displacement is performed for number of bytes, appropriate for code of appropriate quaternary byte of second item, in case of active transfer signal from previous quaternary byte one more displacement is performed in appropriate quaternary byte of first item operand, in case of transfer of unit from higher byte to lower in each quaternary byte, except for higher quaternary byte, a transfer signal is outputted to next quaternary byte, in case of presence of transfer signal from higher quaternary byte an overflow signal is generated.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
