MODE OF SUSPENDING REMOTE AGGREGATES OF EXTERNAL OBJECTS ON A FLYING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2251517 C1

FIELD: aviation equipment.

SUBSTANCE: a pylon is installed under a wing or an airframe of a flying vehicle. It serves as bearer of means for fastening an aggregate or an object and also means of controlling them. They install On component elements of the suspension a functional apparatus designed for radio electronic counteraction and/or detection of targets subject to suppression and fulfilled in the shape of solid units or of separate blocks placed in a container and ensure normal function of functional apparatus. AS an external object suspended on a flying vehicle means of destruction of the enemy are used. Functional instruments are located on a pylon or on a joist holder or an aviation launching gear connected with it or partly in a pylon and partly on a joist holder and aviation launching gear. For functional apparatus fairings are fulfilled transparent in optical range or in radio frequency range or aerodynamic. As functional instrument a direction-finder of laser spot or a station of proactive interference or a thermo direction finder or a station of electronic reconnaissance or a detector of laser radiation or an arrangement of an optical-electronic suppression is used.

EFFECT: increases efficiency of applying means of suspension and combat capabilities of a flying vehicle.
