METHOD FOR RESTRICTING WATER INFLOW INTO WELL Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: oil production equipment, particularly to isolate well drilled in oil- and water-saturated bed from water inflow and to control oil field development.

SUBSTANCE: method involves pumping mixture including silicone material and Polysil material in the following amounts: silicone material - 97.0 - 99.9 % by weight and Polysil material - 0.1 - 3.0% by weight. Silicone material is selected from substituted or complete orthosilic acid esters or organochlorosilanes or mixture of tetraethoxysilane with organochlorosilane or mixture of tetraethoxysilane with oligoorganoethoxichlorsiloxane or titanoethoksichlorosiloxanes. Mixture to be pumped is diluted with diluent in volumetric ratio of 1:0.5-1.0. Silicone material free from chlorine is diluted with mineralized water-based hydrochloric acid solution in amount of 0.5 - 3.0 % by weight. Chlorine containing silicone material is diluted by mineralized water without hydrochloric acid in the same ratio. To provide oil displacement or isolation organic solvents are pumped in well after above mixture pumping. Organic solvents are water- and oil-soluble or oil-soluble solvents taken in amount of 5.0-20.0 % by weight, namely glycols - ethylene glycol, diglycol or waste products containing above glycols; diisopropyl ester, dioxane, kerosene, petroleum solvent, benzin or diesel fuel.

EFFECT: increased water resistance in porous medium, increased oil-displacement capability of pumped mixture due to change in bed wettability.
