FIELD: machines for processing industry branches, manufacture of machine tools.
SUBSTANCE: housing of spindle apparatus has cross sections in the form of rigid box with rigidity ribs. Positioning unit for placing cantilever-free spindles has rigid protrusions or accurately mounted spindle stocks. Two different-direction spindles are mounted in positioning unit. Mechanism for changing tool includes two tool magazines and two spindles arranged one normally to other in positioning unit. There are more than two spindles equally spaced one from other in positioning unit. Mechanism for changing tool includes lead screw, shaft-rack, pneumatic cylinder with nut and with rod-gripper. Apparatus may be mounted in horizontal, vertical and inclined frames.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved working accuracy, enlarged functional possibilities of apparatus.
