SUBSTANCE: method includes rotary-striking effect on well face, feeding drilling mud and drilling pellets, destroying rock by effect of crushing crown, removing rock from face to surface by drilling mud, impact pulse is generated by applying special effect to crushing crown with concurrent feeding of drilling mud with pellets to face, which gets into space between drilling crown and rock, is pressed into working surface of crushing crown due to rotation and striking pulse of striking gear, destroys rock. Pellets are added in amount, directly proportional to rock hardness, and pellet diameter d is selected from relation d>1.3B, where B - maximal space between body and crushing crown. Device for drilling rocks has impact gear and working tool in form of crushing crown, positioned at drilling column with channel for feeding drilling mud. Striking gear is made in form of several rods of special magnetic material, mounted inside electromagnetic windings, connected to cable. Crushing crown is composed of several portions, mounted on the body by rods with springs, while its central portion is made projecting above side portions and its working surface is covered by viscous-plastic metal, and in the body and crushing crown channels for slurry are made. Working surface of crushing crown is made of fluorine bronze.
