FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: ratchet reverse reduction gear comprises housing which receives driving shaft with two cams, driven shaft with two ratchet wheels, two rocking levers which are freely mounted on the driven shaft and define a kinematical link with the driving shaft, reverse unit with rotatable device for switching dogs and transmitting kinematical link between the driving shaft and driven shaft, and power generating unit. The rocking levers are provided with rollers and dogs which cooperate with the teeth of the ratchet wheels. The teeth of the ratchet wheels are made of a three-dimensional figures with rectangular working surfaces and trapezoidal faces which mate the circumferences of the hollows of the ratchet wheels. The dogs have two working surfaces from the opposite sides whose shape correspond to the working surfaces of the teeth of the ratchet wheels.
