FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of sunflower for producing of seeds.

SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing sunflower seeds of single sort on all field plots in different times: during first period of time, sowing seeds on two outer plots, during second period of time sowing seeds on two subsequent plots and during third period of time sowing seeds on central plot to shift flowering phase on each of said plots by 5-8 days with respect to one another.

EFFECT: increased yield of sunflower seeds owing to effective work of pollinator insects.
