FIELD: separation of solid materials by means of floatation processes; devices for separation of finely dispersed minerals for extraction (concentration) of valuable components.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes saturation of mineral suspension with gas bubbles no less than 50 mcm in size by mixing this suspension with gas-and-water emulsion prepared beforehand by mechanical dispersion at content of gas from 66 to 70%, mineralization of gas bubbles at simultaneous mixing and motion in ascent and descent flows at separation of mineralized bubbles in form of floatation concentrate. Floatation machine includes aeration reactor connected with mineralized bubble separation chamber and gas-and-water emulsion generator. Aeration reactor is made in form of vertical tubes interconnected together and used for ascent and descent flow of mineral suspension mixed with gas-and-water emulsion; aeration reactor and gas-and-water emulsion generator are separated in space.
EFFECT: increased degree of extraction of valuable components; enhanced durability and reliability of machine.
