SUBSTANCE: viewing hatch comprises bullet proof window mounted on the housing of a vehicle via frame, loop secured to the frame, seals mounted over the periphery of the frame and opening of the hatch. The mechanism for opening the window is three-linked and is provided with pivotally interconnected links which connect the housing of the vehicle with the frame and allow the window to be closed tightly. The intermediate link of the opening mechanism has a handle and locking device which grips the opening mechanism when the window is in open and closed position.
