Abstract RU 2255234 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-turbine engine contains inlet housing, compressor, intake fairing and external load drive shaft from side of engine inlet. Intake fairing is installed on bearing support of compressor by means of intermediate ring wall dividing inner space of fairing into front space in direction of air flow which accommodates flexible coupling on drive shaft, and rear release space in direction of air flow connected at inlet with front space in direction of air flow through hole in intermediate wall, and connected at outlet through hole in rear shroud, with flow passage of engine. Intake fairing includes outer shroud and inner deflector secured on intermediate circular wall. Slot space between them is connected with compressor at inlet from side of wall, and is connected at outlet with inlet into front space in direction of air flow. Drain holes are made in lower part of wall and rear shroud of fairing. Peripheral surface of drain hole is located closer to engine flow passage than inner surface of deflector.

EFFECT: improved reliability of gas-turbine engine owing to prevention of icing of intake fairing by heating of flexible coupling and accumulation of flushing liquid in inner space of intake fairing.
