QUICK-ACTION MEDICINAL THERMOMETER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2255314 C1

FIELD: medicinal equipment, in particular, equipment for measuring temperature of individual's body.

SUBSTANCE: thermometer has measurement circuit, thermal resistor, thermal resistor stabilization temperature setter, reference voltage source, switch, comparison unit, pulse generator, reference frequency generator, reference frequency pulse counter, pulse counter for counting pulses of overfull of reference frequency pulse counter, digit-to-analog converter, summer, and counting-off device. Thermometer is formed so that thermal resistor stabilization temperature is increased in discrete time mode by predetermined quantum from certain initial value to value equal to measured temperature with allowable error.

EFFECT: increased precision and quick-action measurement of temperature.
