FIELD: mechanical engineering; aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for studying resistance of materials to plastic deformation. Device for compression and twist testing of long-sized materials has base made of two parts for dismounting and connecting by means of two pins. Mentioned parts are adjoined along cylindrical surface. There is punch in top part of the base and thread plug in bottom side of the base. Punch is mounted by movable fit. Both units form intercommunicating hydraulic cavities with top and bottom clams correspondingly. Intercommunication is realized by means of pipeline provided with choke. Lower clamp together with lower part of base forms screw mechanism.
EFFECT: improved degree of plastic deformation.
