SUBSTANCE: the ammunition feeding device of a box magazine - fore end of the weapon has a transverse to the barrel arrangement of cartridges in the magazine body, which are fed from the outlet of the single-row curvilinear channel, common for all transverse cartridge rows of the magazine, and by means of a movable member are alternately turned inside the horizontal space of the magazine, which is positioned in parallel and below the horizontal plane of the cartridge chamber and has lying opposite components limiting the sector of turn of the cartridge, sulcated recess for fixing the cartridge case fed from the curvilinear inlet of the magazine, as well as a window of the wall of the magazine horizontal space for passage of the cartridge to its neck. The neck has in the upper part of the magazine from its lateral side relative to the plane of motion of the transverse cartridge rows of the magazine. Provision is also made for a cartridge feeding mechanism that is positioned inside the magazine body outside the receiver of the weapon and has a detachable connection with the retracting handle of the weapon. Besides, provision is made for sector and vertical longitudinal protrusions, which limit the front longitudinal shift of the cartridges placed below the upper cartridge of the magazine and above the cartridge positioned at the inlet in the single-row curvilinear channel of the magazine, longitudinal fixation of the moved and turned cartridges is accomplished due to the rest of the slope of the bottle cartridge case on the breech ends of the given projections-limiters, the given projections-limiters are positioned on the inner surface of the walls of the single-row curvilinear channel of the horizontal plane and single-row neck of the magazine and form a profiled contraction of the given components, as well as the upper end face of the vertical longitudinal projections-limiters facing the neck bends for holding the upper cartridges simultaneously serves as longitudinal guides for the cartridge case fed by the breechblock to the cartridge chamber.

EFFECT: enhanced operating characteristics of the ammunition feed device for machine gun, having a box magazine-weapon fore grip.
