PIVOT JOINT FOR CONNECTING PIPES PROVIDED WITH TWO CHANNELS, IN PARTICULAR, FOR SUCTION, STEAM GENERATING AND/OR CLEANING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: pivot joint for connecting pipes having two channels, one of channels being adapted for suction and other channel for transportation of fluids in suction, steam generating and/or cleaning apparatus.

SUBSTANCE: pivot joint comprises central part having rotation system with maximal deviation angle of 170°, front casing and rear casing wherein suction, steam generating and/or cleaning channels are provided. Steam and/or cleaning means are directed through front channel and rear channel. Said channels have one end arranged inside water-impermeable means located in central part and adapted for directing steam and/or cleaning means. Said water-impermeable means provides rotation of pivot joint to each position. Water-impermeable means is made in the form of water-tight chamber arranged in central part or in the form of hose for connecting front and rear channels and capable of following rotational motions of pivot joint. Hose may be arranged within suction channel.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by arranging pivot joint at desired inclination angle to provide for treatment of surfaces in difficult-to-reach places, and simplified usage.
