FIELD: sewing engineering.

SUBSTANCE: material moving mechanism has eccentric fixed on main shaft of sewing machine and embraced with rocker pivotally connected with needle carrier lever and kinematically connected with freewheel clutch of feeding disk, and stitch length changing device with handle-retainer. Needle-carrier lever is made double-armed, with lever second arm being pivotally connected through tie-rod with slot of long arm of second lever having unequal arms, and short arm of second lever is connected through tie-rod and spherical pivot joints with freewheel clutch of feeding disk. Position of tie-rod connected with levers may be changed by moving its pivotal end in slot of second unequal-arm lever by means of lever axially aligned with handle-retainer. Lever end is formed as bushing which embraces tie-rod.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and provision for uniform length of stitches.
